Intermediate Obedience Class

For adolescent dogs and older.

GOAL: To teach your dogs to pay better attention to you when they are distracted.

Puppy and Basic class is behind you. Your dog is either older or is going through adolescence. They have learned all their basic obedience commands but have that “I know what you want but I don’t think I’ll do it right now” attitude. Great class for dogs that distract easily and lose their focus. If I am describing your dog then this class is for you.

Intermediate class includes:

  • Heeling
  • Stay in your place
  • Bettering social skills such as greetings with people and dogs
  • In-house at door greetings
  • Long distance stay
  • Bolting work
  • Distraction
  • Come
  • Beginning Rally Obedience
  • and more

Pre-requisite: Basic obedience commands even if not done well such as: come, sit, down and stay.
